These services provide access to skilled technical resources, such as project and initial set-up assistance, product testing and workflow optimization, and in-depth user and technical training. In partnership, our goal is to help you deliver complete solutions, on-schedule, and on budget.HID Professional Services packages for physical access solutions are designed to reduce risk, drive additional revenue opportunities, and increase profitability for your business. Our team is comprised of Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) and can help you provide more value, ensuring greater customer satisfaction and success throughout the installation process.
HID Professional Services packages are divided into different categories, in alignment with the components included in an access control solution, giving you the flexibility to mix and match service packages as needs dictate.
- Credentials PS Package includes project assistance and custom training to help design and configure Genuine HID® smart cards. Also included in this package are user training, specification of memory allocation, provision of keys and data models, and programming tools for end users, as well as card-profile and customer requirements documentation.
- Readers and Encoders PS Package includes project assistance and custom training to successfully set up, configure and deploy HID Global readers and encoders. This package also includes the initialization of the customer’s smart cards, on-site user training, installation, and configuration documentation.
- Converged Access Solutions PS Package includes professional services to assist with the implementation of different types of converged access solutions, such as:
- The integration of either a single logical and a single physical access control system, or integration of a single logical access system and multiple physical access control systems to enable unified credential management from the logical access control system.
- The integration of physical and logical access control systems to enable unified credential management from the physical access control system.
- Key Ceremony PS Package includes project assistance and support for creating and managing cryptographic keys as part of a Key Ceremony. This service is for partners seeking adherence to Common Criteria and/or EAL certification required to securely generate and transport custom keys.
- Genuine HID Investment Protection Service is an optional, add-on service that provides ongoing maintenance and operational assistance to certify that HID Global access control solutions are up-to-date and maintained according to best practices. This subscription-based service delivers a corporate identity review and audit of a customer’s physical and logical access control solutions, assists with planning scheduled firmware upgrades, and on-site technical consulting as needed.
