Warranty Support

At AdvantIDge we care about the success of your ID card printing operation, and providing excellent customer service and support is important to us! Below outlines the various warranty coverage and support options available to AdvantIDge customers who have products still within the terms of the manufacturer warranty.

Support

We will provide domestic toll-free phone and email support during the life of ID card printing products which have been purchased from AdvantIDge. Though we do guarantee a basic level of support on all of the products we sell, AdvantIDge also offers a variety of additional support plans with expedited response times, as well as other benefits. If AdvantIDge technical support cannot diagnose a printer’s problem over the phone, we may issue the customer a Repair Authorization number or create a case number, and the product can be sent to AdvantIDge for service. No printers or any other item purchased from AdvantIDge will be accepted by us for return or service without having a repair authorization or case number issued for that product. Please contact us at 800-965-5932 to request a repair authorization.

Phone and/or email support for hardware or software installation, training, system configuration, database creation, remote assistance, setup of visitor management systems and other advanced support of ID card printers, ID card systems, photo ID software, etc. purchased from AdvantIDge are available at the cost determined by the services requested, but are not covered by the manufacturer warranty. Repair

AdvantIDge is an Authorized Service Center for the manufacturers we sell. Items which have been purchased from AdvantIDge are eligable for depot service for the period of the manufacturer’s standard warranty for the product in question. All warranty services provided are subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranties. A Repair Authorization must be obtained before any products can be sent in to Advantidge for repair. Equipment purchased from AdvantIDge which has been installed incorrectly, used improperly, modified from the original condition, subjected to physical or electrical stress, abused or damaged by accident or by neglect, is void of coverage under the manufacturer warranty. AdvantIDge is under no obligation to provide any warranty services, repairs or replacement parts when ID cards or ID card printer ribbons used by the customer are not manufacturer approved.

ID card printers which are beyond their warranty coverage can still be serviced by our technical support team, but the customer is responsible for paying the shipping fees and costs for parts, labor and repair for these printers. Badge Makers which never had warranty coverage though AdvantIDge due to being purchased elsewhere can still be serviced through us. Some processing fees may apply. Please contact us at 800-965-5932 to request a details from one of our dedicated accoutn representatives.

Loaner ID Card Printer

Customers with a warranty which includes loaner ID card printer coverage will be sent a loaner ID card printer for use while their ID card printer is being repaired, under the terms and conditions as set by the manufacturer. Requests for loaner printers are processed same day when possible, or the following business day. Loaner printers ship from AdvantIDge to the customer via overnight delivery.

For those printer whose warranty does NOT include a loaner, or whose coverage has expired, AdvantIDge does have a rental program available under certain conditions. Click here for more information on out rental program.
