As of December 31, 2009 parts for the previously discontinued Nisca printers PR5100,  PR5200, PR5101, PR5103, and PR5201 will no longer be available, although Nisca Genuine YMCKO2 Ribbons, will continue to be available for all compatible printers (PR5100, PR5200, PR5300, PR5310). 

PR5300 Printers will be discontinued as of December 31, 2009, to be directly replaced with the PR5310 printer, which offers the same print quality and speed as the PR5300, but adds advanced inline smart card capabilities to encode and/or read Contact IC and Contactless (MiFARE, DESFire and iCLASS) smart cards. PR5300 Printers are still available while supplies last, and parts for the PR5300 will be available for at least five years.
