The DTC4000 replaces HID Global’s Fargo DTC400e ID card printer, and has been designed for medium-sized businesses, schools and local government institutions seeking versatility in a convenient, professional and secure ID card printer/encoder system, with a flexible, easy and reliable way to color personalize and encode smartcard technology cards. Features the industry’s first inline card printing and technology card encoding with one connection, using USB or optional Ethernet connectivity.
The optional dual-sided printing module provides additional card space for printing duplicate photos and digital-signatures from a signature capture device, and the optional same-side input/output card hopper and movable SmartScreen™ display helps fit the DTC4000 into the tightest spaces. Increase card printing capacity with a dual-input card hopper, which holds 200 cards for higher capacity printing and encoding, and optional Ethernet connectivity allows for remote printer sharing by multiple users.
Choose from optional technology encoding modules to encode data for magnetic stripe, proximity, contact and/or contactless technology cards, such as iCLASS®, for access control or other applications. The erase and rewrite eco-friendly feature makes the DTC4000 ideal for creating temporary ID cards. Fully compatible with Asure ID® card personalization software for ID badge design, database management and technology card encoding.
