HID Global’s Fargo DTC550-LC Single-Sided lamination ID card printer combines network and ID card security with a high-volume performance in an Ethernet-equipped card printer that’s powerful and easy to use. The DTC550-LC provides great flexibility with high-volume ID card issuances, and print security software can protect printer access and issuance throughout your ID card system.

The DTC550-LC puts the power to print professional, full color, edge-to-edge plastic ID cards at your fingertips, while delivering enhanced network security. With Windows® compatibility the DTC550 LC pleases both IT techs and security specialists alike and with its LAN-ready profile, the DTC550 is ready for installation anywhere on a network.

HID Global’s Fargo DTC550 features two standard 100-card hoppers, which allow hassle-free, high-volume printing, while a reject card hopper assures non-stop production with no pauses for damaged plastic cards. Ideal for producing durable and secure ID badges for such purposes as government and military ID cards, college and university ID cards, corporate access cards, employee badges, special events passes, and more.

The DTC550 with lamination makes adding a clear or holographic overlay to your cards very easy, and with the DTC550′s optional E-Card docking station you can add up to three encoders to your printer. Choose from an optional Proximity Card Encoder, Contactless Smart Card Encoder, or a Triple Coercivity ISO Magnetic Stripe Encoder, and HID, MIFARE and iClass formats.
