Discontinuation of Legacy HID Global Fargo and Persona DTC Printers and Encoders

 

 

 

On March 31, 2011, all printer and system configurations for C30e, DTC400e and DTC550 HID Global Fargo ID card printers will be discontinued. Effective immediately, all products to be discontinued are removed from the 5 day available to promise (ATP) delivery schedule with lead times subject to product availability.

Available with a 5 day ATP, the HID FARGO® DTC1000, DTC4000 and DTC4500 launched in August of 2010, are the replacement products for the C30e, DTC400e and DTC550.

HID Global is committed to providing service and support for three years following printer product discontinuation (until March 31, 2014) and genuine HID printer ribbon and lamination supplies for the discontinued printers will be available for an indefinite period of time.
